Level 6 Diploma in Construction Site Management

This NVQ route is aimed at experienced Assistant Construction Site Managers and Site Managers.

The NVQ is an assessment of your existing knowledge and performance, with NO EXAMINATION. 

To achieve your Black Card, you will need to gather evidence for 19 units. Some of the examples of the evidence you need to provide are:

  • Toolbox talks
  • Environmental plan
  • Inspection and test plans

A full list of the evidence you need to provide will be sent to you by your assessor. You will also be required to answer questions based on your role.

You will receive unrivalled support from your assessor, with frequent check-ins from our Learner Journey Manager.

  • Achieve your Black Card in 6 months. Depending on your commitment, you can achieve this much sooner
  • You can still work on-site. We can give you proof of enrolment to apply for your red temporary supervisor CSCS card
  • Unrivalled one-to-one support. Your assessor, Cameron, has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, on-site and as an assessor. He will be there to support you throughout the qualification

NVQ Overview

Overview
This qualification is suitable for Project Managers, Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers looking to attain a Black CSCS Card. To achieve your Black CSCS Card, you will need to successfully pass your HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) test for Managers.

Assessment

While, you will not be required to take any formal examinations; you are however regularly assessed on your work-based competency. An assessor will be assigned to you, as well as a dedicated Learner Journey Manager to ensure we provide you with all the help you need to complete the qualification within the target timeframe of 6 months based on committing 3-4 hours a week.

Units

Candidates must complete ALL of the mandatory units, plus the mandatory/optional requirements from one of the Pathways that we offer.
